How It Works

Walkies @ Dog Walking Fields

Your Guide to Walkies @

Do you want to visit Walkies @? Are you curious about how it works? Then you’re in the right place! Read on to learn how bookings work, how to gain access to our secure dog exercise fields and the rules of the fields.

How it Works: Booking

The first step is to check our session availability, in order to select a day and time for your visit. Once you’ve found an available slot for a day and time that suits you, the next step is to decide on which field you’d like to visit, a session length and let us know how many dogs you’ll be bringing with you. Then, it’s time to check out and pay for your session. Payments must be made through our website’s secure payment gateway and we accept payments from all major debit and credit card providers.

How it Works: Accessing The Fields

How it Works - Dog Resting in Field - Dog Walking Fields Plymouth

Before your booked session, we’ll email you a security code so that you can let yourself into the dog exercise field. This code is only usable on the day of your booking and should not be shared with anyone else. If you arrive early, please remain in your vehicle until the previous session has ended in order to avoid distress to dogs who may be nervous or reactive. Once you’re in the field, ensure you close the gate behind you to prevent your dog escaping or unauthorised access. When you’re leaving the field, please close and lock the gate so that the following user has to enter their code to access the field.

How it Works: About The Facilities

How it works - high tensile steel fence - Walkies at wixenford

Spacious and private, our secure dog exercise areas feature a 6ft high fence, made from high tensile steel to keep your dogs safe and prevent escapes. Please note: we have a water supply at Wixenford & Hemerdon fields only. All our fields have convenient on-street, in-field parking, shelter and a picnic bench. We do not have any dog waste bins or poo bags available on site, so you must clean up and take all dog poo with you at the end of your session. Failure to do so will result in you being banned from all Walkies @ fields.

Wixenford: Please note that if you are travelling from Billacombe Road roundabout onto Colesdown Hill then the road is shut to traffic before the field entrance. You will still be able to park and walk in from the barrier but we recommend that you enter Colesdown Hill off Haye Road.
